    Regardless if a tournament like this one will haqppend or not, you guys have to admit that it wll clear any ssues regarding the top contenders in the division...

    We already have a true Welterweight Champion, his name is Floyd Mayweather. Until he decides to vacate his title, than a tournament is not necessary.

    PBF is already the champion at 147 period. Whether you wish to recogonize him as the man there is irrelevant. He did it by beating the man at 147 who at that time was Baldo. If Cotto wants to become the man at 147 he must beat PBF.:deal
    BTW you are aware PBF already tried to fight Cotto while both were at 140 but Arum wouldn't let Cotto anywhere near PBF aren't you?:hi:

    Exactly! The rest can fight in a tournament to see who gets a shot at PBF. No need for PBF to fight in it he's the linear champ already. Tournaments are fought in divsions when no one is considered the champ in this case we already have an established champ in PBF.

    This is not a matter of recognition or not...it is a way that will bring the very best togehter to see who is the best man standing at the end....
