Klitshcko/Haye was the biggest boxing "event" I've seen, in terms of choreography and showmanship - the fire plumes, the stadium-wide fireworks, the staged skits backstage and bringing George Foreman and Lennox Lewis for the walk-ins. With an 80,000 Wembley, surely Matchroom should look at Klitschko/Haye as the blueprint to produce something special on 31 May.

Foreman and Lewis led Klitschko and Haye to the ring. Eubank and Benn, or at least Collins and Calzaghe should be leading Froch and Groves in. As I'll be tryign to get tickets on Monday, this is what I expect for my money. Thoughts?

That was some weekend. Did you go to that festival during the day? One thing about the Germans. They know how to do things right.

    Showbusiness has taken over boxing.

I "seen" it on an online stream. I will be going to Froch/Groves hopefully, so would like to be a part of something similar.

Good idea. I think something like that would work well and go down a storm for the fans.

You could maybe have Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank have some message of advice on the big screens to the fighter before they ring walk.

Hearn also said their planning on some fireworks and pyro! Maybe he could get bands or something in as well to play for the crowd and make it a night to remember?

The Germans try that -- but they have funny taste.

Aye, I suppose they would be better off with a good undercard and playing loud music between fights and get a right good 'sing song' going :soccerye:

I want it to be like the arena was in Germany for Barker v Sturm.

That place was jumping and that's the kind of music which should be played at a boxing event.

Would have to be Benn/Collins for Froch, Eubank/Calzaghe for Groves I'd say.

Hearn won't spend the money. False-Face will be maximising his profits.

For all his **** talk fans really come second.

Calzaghe's rooting for Groves. Froch and Eubank have had cross words. Collins likes Froch's style, similar to Benn.

Yeah no way Calzaghe walks out with Froch to much bad blood, anyway its more fitting for Benn or Collins to walk Froch. The more warrior tough come forward kinda guy walking out Froch while Calzaghe or Eubank the more technical fast guy walking out Groves. Just more fitting IMO. Then entrances need to be massive, like Klitschko does in Germany, big ****ing lazers and the screen with a message ect. Klitschko and Haye entrances were epic this needs something similar. Eddie better not go tight ass and just have the music playing and they walk in with such a massive stadium and event every part of the event Undercard, Entrance ect needs to be massive.
