brilliant! i tried to find spinks muhammad but i had trouble earlier (again, possibly cause i'm drunk). these are the joys with getting the wife a
ms. pac-man machine....while she's playing on that thing, i'm free to watch 80s light heavies :thumbsup

You obviously hate Toney cuz he would have beaten Kalambay - there's no other explanation!:bbb

He's one of my favourite fighters you mentalist. And Sumbu would terrorise him nonetheless.

You're not biased enough when you're scoring your favourite fighters!:D

He would end up the same as poor old R.Johnson - losing a highly controversial SD and never getting a rematch:tong

Well there's a fair bit of Mantequilla on YouTube but I will put some on there (just backed up the first fight with Muniz so it's easily accessible but there's plenty of better footage of him than that)

I plan on watching Napoles - Griffith again soon. Love that performance.

Gilberto Roman vs Jiro Watanabe. Had it 115-113 Roman and I'm a huge Watanabe fan. I'd buy 116-112. I've not watched a lot of Roman, but he impressed me in this fight. He was constantly stepping to Watanabe keeping the pressure on and he always tried to reply immediately when hit. I was fascinated by the footwork in this fight. It was fought at range much of the time and a lot of little half steps in an attempt to gain an edge. Roman just seemed to want it more. I think a prime, motivated Watanabe takes this fight, but I was still impressed with Roman.
My main beef with Watanabe's performance was the he didn't (or couldn't) let his hands go like he did in earlier efforts.

Muniz I is up? :p That would be awesome, all I've ever seen is the last minute perhaps of the final round. One of the bigger travesties of the decade, from what I'm led to believe.

It will be, along with Spinks-Mustafa, at some point tomorrow I imagine :good

Loads of Pedroza coming youtubes way as well. Thinking of putting them in all in one thread and letting Senor Pepe go on information overload for all of the opponents, hopefully some of y'all will be game for watching, discussing and analysing the footage and his career and soaking up some details :good

Always game for some Pedroza! There's a stretch in his career I haven't seen floating around: Caba, Mayor, Hayes, Lujan. Love to see some of that, but any Pedroza is good stuff. Always appreciated!
