Hadn't watched old Ricky in a while so I thought I needed reminding of how great young Ricky Hatton was too watch. I watched:-

Hatton v Tony Pep
Hatton v Jason Rowland
Hatton v John Bailey

Fantastic display of dominance and body punching in each of the fights....he was really a monster against this level of opponent

 

I just watched James Toneys last outing...well if thats what equates to James Toney looking good these days it just shows how far he has fallen, he looked terrible, got buzzed on a couple of occasions by a walking punchbag. he looked in much better shape but was not impressive at all. He did the chicken dance in the first round and the stoppage looked bad as well. The bloke landed a body punch on Toney and the ref stepped in and called it off. few years ago this fruitcake wouldn't have laid a glove on Toney.

Reality check James and Roy it's all over unless you find a time machine.

I just watched Mayweather/Hatton (HBO version) for the first time in a while and the commentary was embarrassing! But what else is new with that cast? They really tried to sale to the public that Hatton was actually winning that fight (smh) my 9 year old nephew saw Floyd setting up the check hook and knew it was a matter of time before Hatton (like he always does) jump into a punch but they couldn't?

I think Manny Steward for years has hated Shane and Floyd (because they didn't do business with him) Now did yall hear Floyd calling him a Uncle Tom and that's like the lowest thing you can call an African American and it was below the belt. Floyd can't have it both ways, once you cross the dark side you can't cross back over. Floyd before he started rock'n his record label on his back use to be a humble personable guy.

when he signed with the rapper dude before the Chico fight that's when the transition started ( he called the HBO contract a slave contract) then that Oscar tour is when he completely lost it. Floyd grew up in gyms not on the streets so like so many of these rappers he's "acting" out the roll of a street thug. He's getting paid but I bet yall he has trouble looking in the mirror (confused).
