Foreman-Norton Foreman-Lyle Harada-Jofre I - Harada was damn impressive. Was Jofre past prime for this?
McCallum vs Kalambay 1: Kalambay was a very good fighter but i'm always surprised when watching this fight how he handled the bodysnatcher and basically outboxed him with his hand speed and angles, i guess styles make fights because looking at this you'd think how can a old McCallum give james Toney problems and one could argue maybe beat him once in those first two encounters. Hagler vs Mugabi: What a fight! Mugabi was something like 25 fights with 25 KO's something crazy like that and no one would fight him, marvellous gives him the opportunity and glad he did because it was a toe toe classic, a fight that took a lot outta Marvin in view to Leonard and convinced me he loses to Hopkins in a fantasy match-up between those two ATG's. Miguel Canto footage: Just a master craftsman at work, beautiful to watch him breaking the stereotypical mexican ways with his slickness....one of my all time favourites...yall know i'm a ***** for slickness. lol
Yeh Jofre qwas past prime but he went on later to go 45-0 at FW and win the FW title, so he was still an ATG quality fighter I love Canto also, you seen his fight with Chan Hee park - Park is so impressive
Morales vs. Pacquiao 1 and random El Terrible footage. You have to love Eric Morales in this fight, it was a Morales declining fast and with one last hurrah left in him, What a classic performance! he was too tricky for Pacquiao in that first fight. I was in awe watching this. I remember when El Terrible boxed his way to a decision in a fight against In Jin Chi with one eye closed shut it was at that moment I knew Morales was the truth! I have a foot fetish in boxing, no not like that lol I mean I love to watch exceptional foot work from a boxer and the way Eric Morales use to plant his feet was a thing of beauty. He was such a emotional fighter it would kill me when he brawled, because I knew he was so technically sound. There was talk of him coming back, EM is a warrior and loves this game to death but let's hope its not true or he's got one itch to scratch..same goes for Barrera. I would hate to see people like Barrera and Morales end up like Bowe or meldrick Taylor.
btw Barrera AND Morales both beat Hamed on any day of the week and twice on sunday. He might have caught Morales because he fights emotional at times but MAB was too serious and too good of a boxer for Hamed. I think Hamed was a cup of coffee severed with a pastry he wasn't a full course meal type of fighter. He had huge calfs and threw these weird ass punches and ko'd people but his real test he fell short and it all ended. I loved his swagger though. Boxing needs more guys like him. I just remember Naz coming in the ring with all his antics and MAB had this stone cold killer look on his face like Ivan Drago lol I told the whole fight party "this guy is not Kevin Kelly" lol I saw his career since he got ko'd by Junior Jones and since those fights he was on a mission. Plus I knew a boxer would beat Hamed. It was a matter of time before he failed a science test.
well, Barrera wasn't like that 'any day of the week'. He was far more aggressive and open at 122 and had to change his approach significantly to beat Hamed.
