Michael Brodie vs Neil Swain Brodie stepping it up for the first time against Swain and it resulted in one hell of a fight! All out action from the start until the end and very evenly contested. Will be the next fight I upload in my 'classic british fight' series :yep Anthony Crolla vs Gary Sykes Another good fight (shame the whole fight wasn't screened though) that I gave a watch before Sykes fights tonight. Both put everything into it, but Sykes just took it with some nice punching to the body at times and landing overall the better shots. We need more fights like this. Curtis Woodhouse vs Jay Morris Curtis has certainly improved since the last time I seen him in action. Worked the body nicely and had a good defence when Morris attacked. Nice finish too.
Tszyu v Rodriguez. My mate's mate who watched it with us reckons the Khan that beat Kotelnik would beat the Tszyu that beat Rodriguez:-(
Not even that, he looks like McLovin and is the most argumentative ****er in the world, oh and he cant fight for ****, so if you argue with him he pulls the bully card out of his top pocket. He also says that Mayweather will stop Mosley in under 6 rounds, because Floyd stopped Hatton, who he thinks is a better fighter than Mosley:-(
still think it was a shame tszyu didn't try again at 147 after the hatton fight. he still had something to offer i think. :bbb
Very true. Tszyu is my favourite fighter of all time, and i was sadly ill when Hatton fought Tszyu. I remember watching it at my house with about 10 friends and i was the only one pulling for Tszyu. I would have liked to see Tszyu try at 147, but in hindsight im glad he retired when he did, but i would have liked to see him go out on a win.
You cheeky **** Greg I watched some Ralph Dupas (nice movement, tough and works hard) and Luis Rodriguez (against Falech and Armstrong, and I've run out of words to describe this master of boxing; love his one-two and the way his long arms allow right hands to land at awkward painful angles and how effective an in-fighter he was, crashing in uppercuts or landing numerous hooks from either hand) so that's what I watched today...
I love Dupas, he can spin on a coin whilst throwing punches. I have watched Napoles vs Griffith Pernell Whittaker (3 of his first 4 fights) Whittaker vs Haugan Buchanan vs Laguna I
What did you think of the Griffith Napoles fight Greg. I was quite surprised by it. I'd always imagined that it was one sided for Napoles but on watching it I thought it was competitive. Napoles won but Griffith still looked good. How he weighed 144 I'm ****ed if I know after all those years boxing middleweights.
