I got the whole fight if your wanting. One of my favrouite performances of Benitez the guy is the full package at such a young age.

Nah, Lacey seems a real nice guy heard an interview with him recently and hes honest about himself and that, just a down to earth guy wish him all the best. Hes keeping fighting.

    Pascal is the real deal.

Thing with your Dad is he had to come around the time of the best Bantam era. Rose, Harada and Olivares. He can hold his head high and say he competed well with three legends of the game, and he should definitly be spoke about when talking about that era, I call it the Rose, Rudkin, Harada and Olivares era. Your Dad was one of the top men in on eof the best eras ever thats better than being a champion in a poor era, so your Dad can hold his head high. But like you say it aint the same. Hes a true champion.

Your dad was right, cracking fight though Hardy vs Canizales, especially the second one.

I have nothing against left hook (what a stupid nickname, let me tell the world my only weapon) I'm sure he's a nice fella, but a terrible fighter.

Pascal is the real deal if you like your fighters throwing punches like they're swimming.

Oh, haven't you noticed by now that i discriminate against what i call anti sweet science fighters. LOL

Thing is according to Jeff he aint been able to throw his left hook since the Calzaghe fight sue to a shoulder injury and he ahsnt really thrown it has he?

Naw, Pascal is a tough kiddo with speed and good boxing skills, he can just get caught up in a war, but he still has nice skills at times.

I'm as much as a science man as yourself just appreciate talent.

That first fight Hardy-Canizales fight was a *******. Billy came so close. I think I had it 1 round to Canizales. I have talked about it on this thread a few months ago. I haven't seen the second since the time but I don't think the heat helped the ginger Billy Hardy. I think it is up on you tube now, I'll have to watch it again.
I think that Billy is unlucky that he is probably remembered more for the Hamed blowout than these 2 fights and the rest of his fine career

The second fight is a classic, Canbizales looks in fine form early and nearly KOs Hardy but then tires and Hardy starts to take over then Canizales suddenly gets energy and KOs him

I'm gonna watch it now. I remember watching Billy Hardy knocking out John Hyland, a top amateur and good prospect. It was considered a shock at the time. I think John had beat him as an amateur.
I watched it in a pub with my dad and Paul Hodkinsons' dad.

I can't get behind him until he learns how to not take 3 shots to deliver 2 or stops throwing punches from left field bleachers. Tbf he has impressed me somewhat since his fight with Frochy with his destruction of Diacanu who lets be honest is nothing more then a light heavy Matt Hatton. lol I do like fruit pascals heart and determination which along with his athleticism could make him a certified bad ass, but Chad makes him look silly.

    I prefer the first fight.
