yea rite. 3 hours before the fight aswell. he looked devastated after his last fight aswell. think he knew his career was over then

 

He was proper ****ed, he was nearly sleeping going into the ring.

It was weird he admitted he was going to lose then when it happens it finally hits him, damn I should have trained/retired.

They publsihed a letter I sent in looking for info on Aberdeen Boxing Booths for a freind of mine, whos grandad boxed in them.

I never knew Aberdeen had so much fighters, because Brian Donald gave me an email with a great insight into the history of boxing in Aberdeen.

Aye, helped us loads, I'm now lookign toresearch abit further into aberdeens fistic history. As did you know Peter keenan (50s bantamweight world contedner Euro, brit, empire champ) boxed in the tiny Aberdeenshire coastal village of Macduff?

I dont buy boxsets, I trade use WBVA or buy old, rare fights from a collecter.

 

Can anyone tell me or if they have it, give me a copy of Jones v Piccirillo.

Must be a pretty rare fight because I've looked around everywhere I know and couldn't seem to find a copy of it :think

 

You searched WBVA and taht other site, hardly looking everywhere.
