Chavez vs Taylor I - what a cracking fight. Dreadful HBO commentary though - ignoring almost all the good work Chavez did and, when he blasted Taylor over, they were silent as if it hadn't happened.

Richie Ghent Vs Sid Razak - Look out for this decent prospect, lacks power in his punch but has nice variation, showed some of that in this fight.

Ben Lawler Vs Dean Harrison - Harrison burst back into contention with a peach of a right kncoking Lawler out in the first, Lawler got up but ref waved it off.

Last couple of days I watched quite a few fights:

    Froch vs Adamovich
    Typical Prospect vs Journeyman fight.

    Froch vs Hague
    Great knockout.

    Froch vs Porras
    Really good battle.

    Froch vs Barney
    Your typical Barney fight :tired

    Francis vs Carr
Francis looked world class in this fight - awesome performance.

    Ashley vs Klemetsen
    Great knockout.

    Hamed vs Lawal
    Punchstats:
    Hamed - Thrown 2, landed 2.
    Lawal - Thrown 0, landed 0.

    Bingham vs Logan
Logan looked really good in spurts, but Bingham's power prevailed.

    Dunstan vs Andries II
Dunstan looked pretty good, nice footwork and jab.

    Bugner vs Welch
Terrible refereeing. Bugner down for 13 seconds, looks completely gone and the ref lets it continue - fight lasts for about another 30 seconds with Welch battering him :patsch

    Thompson vs Rocchigiani II
A split decision :rofl Thompson clearly won.

    Reid vs Pretorious
Don't know how Pretorious survived the 1st round! Reid was pushed a little in the middle rounds, but took him out well.

    Parisi vs Revilla
Was lackadaisical at the start, but Parisi looked pretty good in the last round. RIP.

    Vazquez vs Marquez Trilogy documentary
A must watch for boxing fans.

Yep, just a few fights! :D

Kos, Hamed-Lawal is shocking  First punch annihilated him, gets up but is done, Naz takes a look at him as if to say 'you there or not?'

'No? Well have that then(!)'

Considering the amount of fights I watch, I have a wealth of material (some of it controversial :rofl) but te prospect of typing up scorecards and...yuck, I much prefer everything to be a stream of consciousness relying on memory.

I agree: it's clear to see who landed the more damaging punches in the fight from visuals, let alone the clear downward slope it started for Taylors brain.

Saying that, I had Taylor up , big time going into the last round. The sheer volume he threw, he outlanded Chavez frequently and with eye catching work too.

I have no complaints with the stoppage. Chavez earned that win as much as Taylor would've if he survived. He managed to pull it out.
