:yep Martinez - Margarito for me later I think... :| Possibly followed by Williams - Martinez before I pile on Martinez Decision at 7/4. :bbb
Fatai Onikeke vs Ranee Ganoy This is one of the craziest fights I have ever seen. The first round was pretty tame, just a feeling out round really, but it really kicked off in the 2nd round. Ganoy floors Onikeke early in the round and does the same again almost instantly. The three knockdown rule was in place, so if Onikeke touched down once more it was all over. With about one and half minutes left in the round, it looked highly unlikely he would not touch down again...and that proved to be right as Ganoy caught him and his glove hit the mat. THE FIGHT WAS OVER!!...or maybe not, as the referee didn't see the touch down of the glove! Onikeke somehow survives the onslaught from Ganoy (the ref could have stepped in on a couple of occasions) and makes it out of the round. The following two rounds basically followed this plan: Onikeke rocked a dozen times in the first two minutes of the round, Ganoy blows his load, and Onikeke comes back to rock Ganoy himself. Onikeke, with his non-existent defence, finally got off to a better start in the 5th round, as he pushed back the tired Ganoy. It looked like the impossible was about to happen, as Onikeke continued firing at Ganoy who wasn't answering back. The doctor outside of the ring signals to the ref and THE FIGHT WAS OVER!! Onikeke and his corner celebrate, Ganoy's corner protest. All of a sudden, the doctor tells the ref that he was just signalling that Ganoy's gum shield had came out, and not for him to stop the fight. The ref then gets everyone out of the ring but the fighters and THE FIGHT WAS BACK ON!! Onikeke finished the round well and clearly took it. The 6th round starts like the 3rd and 4th with both going at it and Onikeke gets floored early, but the ref, who was clueless, didn't count it. But unlike the 3rd and 4th, Onikeke didn't really come back into it and was clearly a Ganoy round. They both go at it in the 7th and rock each other, but Ganoy get's the upper hand and basically clubs Onikeke to the floor. Onikeke can barely walk, but the ref lets it continue and he is sent to the canvas again and the ref waves it off. THE FIGHT IS OVER FOR REAL!! And to add to the madness you have a great crowd, shitty Aussie commentators having a orgasm every 5 seconds ("Ohhhhhhh mate!") and Onikeke play acting throughout the fight like he wasn't hurt, but rocking all over the ring and hardly being able to stand up. Not one for the purists, but one of the best fights nearly nobody has ever seen.
Watched lots of Walter McGowan and despite him losing many of the contests I only saw him losing 3 rounds but he was cut in every fight.
Victor Galindez v Eddie Mustafa Muhammed. Nice fight. Both were very defensively sound and pretty slow starters so the low level of action in the early rounds were expected. Both were slipping most shots however Galindez activity just outdid Eddies good jab to give him an early lead, as soon as Eddie went to war in the 5th he got dropped off a great right. When the fight was a range Eddie was the better man but Galindez could always draw you in and land his counters. The Ref unfairly deducted a couple points from Eddie and that probably sealed the decision for Galindez. I had it 143-139 Galindez. Very close fight. Also watched Pryor-Cervantes. Its a great title winning effort from Pryor against the past it Cervantes. Absolutely fearless and just comes out blitzing shots from all angles. Cervantes has no chance. Had to rescue this thread from the 7th page :scaredas:
Hearns vs Barkley 1. Reminds me a bit of Jackson vs Graham, but not as one sided nor as brutal. Still, Tommy was beating Barkley to the point where you'd wonder if Barkley would ever fight again, before THAT. If only his chin was slightly better..... could have been a top 10 P4P'er, he had everything else.
Had it on but couldn't really pay attention to it. Was a bit of a mess and was with a bunch of people who couldn't give a crap about boxing  Will give it a d/l later but from the bits I saw and have seen previous I'm starting to think I picked the wrong bro in the league. Looks more well rounded to me.
yea i agree, his bro more exciting tho with what i can tell so far, more power. how come he didnt fight:think
