    Thanks, I try(seriously, I do.).

Try and avoid his fights at bantam(not his weight at all) and the Darchinyan fight which was a stylistic nightmare for him. Other than those, any of his fights at super-fly will do.

It better be a pretty special performance for me to dig it out of my pile of 100+ boxing DVD's :yep

Will, hopefully, give it a watch soon. Been busy lately and still have some Omotoso fights to watch :good

Well, you have to have the kind of undying love of Mijares' style that I do. So, maybe not.

That was the first time I watched McGuigan-McDonnell since I saw it live at the time. I have to hand it to McGuigan, he has lost his edge in this fight, and afterwards he was sensible enough to hang up the gloves. Perfect timing. That GMEX looked like a great venue - do they still hold fights in there?

I don't think Darchinyan was a 'stylistic nightmare' for Mijares. Mijares was too confident, got caught early by one of the biggest punchers in super-fly history and never got a rhythm going after that.

Sung Kil Moon would be someone who is all wrong for Mijares IMO, someone that can take his shots and keep the pressure on and stop him getting a rhythm.

A more humble Mijares would've stopped Darch getting his shots off IMO.

Awesome performance from Vic mind, he's never looked better, and against his best opponent too. He was awesome on the night.

Looks like Mijares has got through his rough patch and is getting some steam again :happy
