I made this a quite a while ago but saved it to my HD.

    1 McCallum ( very close)

Toney inactive not as active, McCallum dictated the pace and was consistent throughout, this was an extremely close round, punch stats ...........35% of McCallums punches landed compared to 29% for James

    2 Toney

Good round for Toney, he took it on the more solid punches landed, although mccallum seemed! to be a little more active with the jabs.

    3 McCallum
He controlled it with the jab and dictated the pace. He landed a sneaky right hand, and also landed a clipping left hook after that.

    4 McCallum
Toney scored the best punch of the round, however McCallum landed the jab consistently throughout to head and body, he also landed a number of right hands, some were countered by toney, some were not, I could not give toney this round on one punch, he was too inactive. McCallum jabbed the belly and head throughout whilst also landing counter rights

    5 McCallum
Toney landed the best punch of the round, a cracking right hand, but i
cant score a round on 1 solid punch, not when McCallum landed his own
counter right hands, and threw the jab consistently to the body and head. McCallum didn't do that as effectively as he had done in other rounds, but toney virtually did nothing aside from that right hand, in this round McCallum threw 356, landed 132, 37%, toney threw 320, landed 116, 36%

    6 Toney

(Jab through 5 rounds..............McCallum landed the jab 93 times to Toney's 63 times)

Arguably Toneys best round, he landed quite a few solid shots in this
round, it was unlike round 4/5 where he landed one great punch but
got outworked, he still didn't do a lot here, but he landed a number of those solid shots as appose to the odd single like in the previous rounds.

    7 Toney
Toney scored the more effective solid shots, but McCallum closed well, still gave it to Toney though. 40% each through 7 rounds

    8 Toney

More solid punches scored by Toney in this round, although McCallum closed it up towards the end, still a toney round though imo.

9 McCallum "Bill Miller to Toney " were losing this fight"

McCallum's best round in terms of solid punches landed on James

    10 Toney

    landed some solid shots here.

    11 Toney

Landed the cleaner harder shots, McCallum again more active.

    12 Toney

    Clearest round of the fight.

    Compubox

    James Toney threw (823) landed (340) 41%

    Mike McCallum threw (890) landed (343) 39%

    Total jab

    James Toney threw(373) landed(131) 35%

    Mike McCallum threw 556 landed (211) 38%

Looks like we differ on a few middle rounds, but this fight was extremely hard to score from what I recall.

How did you score the rematch, I have my scorecard at hand if you want me to post it, PS, I thought McCallum outworked Toney in the rematch

    I had it a draw

    McCallum: 1; 3; 5; 6; 9; 11;

    Toney: 2; 4; 7; 8; 10; 12

    McCallum 114-114 Toney

McCallums jab is the most consistent weapon of the fight, as well as his economic movement. But Toneys harder, eye catching shots win enough rounds as well.

Closely fought fight that demands repeat viewings, an absolute joy to watch.

I will warn you; the poor quality of Chang-Tokashiki is infuriating.

But persevere, and you'll see great action from the get-go, and Chang at his mind blowing best!

Aside from round 12 it was very hard to score.

Toney-johnson is almost impossible to score if you've seen that?

The rematch is actually the next fight i'm watching so i'll score it tomorrow.

Mayweather vs Hatton. The fight was sort of close until Mayweather ran away with the last three rounds (or whatever it was). That check hook was beastly.

A lot of them seem fair. The two that stand out to me tho.

    Holyfield winning the lewis rematch?

    Diaz beating maliggnagi?

Honestly don't see them two going the way you say.

Most are reasonable though, like your mccallum-toney score for instance :good

watched Frankie Randall vs Julio Cesar Chavez 1. Very entertaining fight. I had it 7 rounds to 5 for Randall, with two 10-8 rounds also being awarded to him. I dont know how Chavez could have thought he won the fight. the two low blows awarded against him may have been pre-mature but Randall was he clear cut winner anyways.

come on gooners, let's be having you

    Toney - McCallum 2

1: 10-9 toney edging by jabbing his way in and landing hooks on the inside parrying and slipping most of mike's shots.
2: 10-9 very close round, toney fighting in spurts but doing the better work.
3: 10-9 another close round, for the first two minutes mike had trouble getting past toney's jab and didn't seem as active.
4: 9-10 good round by mike who kept toney on the outside for the most part and held his own in the middle.
5: 9-10 close round with the two even on the inside but mike edging it on the outside.
6: 9-10 again mike controlling on the outside and holding hiw own when the two get inside.
7: 10-9 toney slipping a lot of mikes stuff and landing some clean solid counters.
8: 10-9 very very close round, mike seemed content to have an inside fight this round and I think that favoured toney as his defence and reflexes are superior.
9: 9-10 mike mixing his jab up with some punishing body blows for the main part of the round.
10: 10-9 close round with toney edging it behind his jab and counters but mike seemed to hurt toney with a couple of his body shots.
11: 10-9 another razor close round with me preferring james' quality to mike's quantity.
12: 9-10 close round with the edge this time going to mike

    115-113
