I watched Rafael Herrera-Venice Bhorkosor this morning, was a quality fight, both guys giving their all for 15 rounds. It was like a small man's version of Tua-Ibeabushi in respect that they just followed each other around landing loads of shots without really hurting each other until the last round. Not a lot of drama but a solid solid match. Couldn't score it as the youtube footage isn't fully complete but gives enough so you can appreciate the fight
Archie Moore vs Yolande Pompey. Vintage performance by the Mongoose. Started slower(probably due to weight making problems) and let Pompey work while superbly blocking most punches on his arms and elbows and letting Yolande punch himself out while countering with hard shots. Gradually he started taking control of the fight and became more aggressive.Pompey did show a lot ofheart getting up 3 times in the 10th but he was getting slaughtered.
Yeah just watched Bowe v Holyfield 1 and Holyfield v Tyson 1. Thinking of watching some Toney. Suggestions?

The 1st 2 McCallum fights are awesome, especially the 1st. Toney-Jirov is very good as well. If you wanted to watch some more Holyfield try Qawi 1 & Michael Dokes :good
I think there's 11 rounds. The Thai was dropped in the 6th (missing) and Herrera took the worst beating of his career. Alan Rudkin Jr said Alfonso Zamora was awed by Borkorsor decades later. The best Thai boxer of all time. It was thought he deserved the fight at the time, and I gave Herrera only one or two rounds. Borkhorsor outboxed Salavarria and was the only man to stop Betulio Gibzalez anywhere near his best. A monster fly, he stepped up fight Herrera (a little past his best) and was IMO very unlucky not to get the decision based on what we have. That counter uppercut he lands in the first round? :yep Herrera scared kids on the plane home IIRC. They thought he was a monster
yeah its the first time I have watched bhorkosor fight and was impressed with what I saw. Was hoping to watch some more of him but it seems there is only one round of the Montana fight on youtube and thats it:fire Pity their is only four rounds missing, seems a shame you cant watch the full fight
That the guy who was 'sposed to fight Harding? If so, yes and Mike is all over him at the end. So experienced and poised. Love him.
Watched Livingstone Bramble vs Ray Mancini 2. This is one of my first times watching Bramble in action, and he impressed me in this fight. His style reminds me of a Ghanian fighter, with his tight shell defence, stance, and the way he explodes from his shell when throwing punches. Its a pity he only made one mroe title defence before being knocked out by Rosario. Fair play to the slightly faded Ray Mancini in dealing with hard shots all night and a bad cut. Ray was was brave as ever, did some nice work with the jab, and succeded in outworking Bramble to win his fair share of rounds. But through the majority of the fight, it was Bramble who was landing the sharper more accurate shots, and for even when they were up close infighting, Bramble seemed to get the best of it often. Very good fight overall, round three was my favourite My scorecard in the end read: Round 1 10-9 Bramble Round 2 10-9 Mancini Round 3 10-9 Bramble Round 4 10-9 Bramble Round 5 10-9 Bramble Round 6 10-9 Mancini Round 7 10-9 Bramble Round 8 10-9 Mancini Round 9 10-9 Bramble Round 10 10-9 Mancini Round 11 10-9 Bramble Round 12 10-9 Bramble Round 13 10-9 Bramble Round 14 10-9 Mancini Round 15 10-9 Bramble 145-140 Bramble Ive no idea how the judges could have it so close, all three giving Bramble the victory by a single point. Overall i thpugh it was a clear cut victory for Bramble, and I thought I was being a bit generous in my allocation of a few of those rounds to Mancini. Btw props to GazOc for uploading the fight, good ****:good
