Just watched Billy Dib V Yamaguchi - Biggest disgrace i have seen in awhile. Dib looked turd was rocked and down. Manages to come back a bit and puts Yamaguchi on the ropes where he slips and he put down. While on the ground Dib hits him and he knew what he was doing. The ref some how doesn't see it and calls the fight off when Yamaguchi stumbles about. The aftermath is another joke. Yama pushes the ref in disgust and goes to Dib who pushes him away then dib pushes one of his entourage as well. Whats even funnier in the copy i have after the fight in the studio they don't even mention Dib hit a downed opponent. If you want to see a complete joke I'd watch this.
George Foreman vs Ron Lyle. Absolute ATG fight,HW slugfest with one of the best commentary jobs ever by Howard Cossell. Oh and round 4 is one of the best ever.
^^^Great fight^^^ Calzaghe vs Kessler - First time I have watched it since it was live and it was a good technical fight. I didn't realise just how dominant Calzaghe was in the fight. Calzaghe vs Lacy - One of the all time great performances by a British fighter.
Well, most recently...hmm...it was probably Tyrell Biggs vs David Bey, actually. Nasty cut in that one. Thirty-odd stitches.
As soon as he realized it wasn't a good idea to move forward with head head down getting clobbered by Kesslers uppercuts...
just watched it.everytime i see billy dib i hate him a bit more.bloody commentators pretty much ignore that he hit yama while he was down too
:yep Just the first time I watched it I genuinely thought Calzaghe was losing after the first 6 rounds, but watching it again made me realise that my prediction was just in the heat of the moment, because although he was not dominant in the first 6 (dominant after that though) he certainly wasn't losing.
Wasn't it Dib who had that stinker with Luevano on the Pavlik-Hopkins undercard? That fight actually sent me to sleep. :nut
from about the 3rd maybe 4th Joe started doubling the jabs up and keeping more out of range and took the fight from there, for the first 2-3 rounds it looked like a long awkward night for Calzaghe. I still think Kessler beats Froch if they meet
