Yeah he was and they were cracking fights but Livingstone just had that bit more on Boom Boom. Both really good fights. I have to pull them out and watch them again...haven't watched them since i was 12-13 and i'm 20 now.
I will try dig them out and get them on ere if i can..never done it before but if i get the vids then i upload them for sure.
Cheers mate. Those two are missing out of my collection as well. Don't sweat it though bud, I was only (half!!) joking....;O)
nah i be happy to upload them i just got to find them. I got a load of fights sitting about on tape that i should upload but never got round to trying it before. My dad was a big boom boom fan so i know he wouldn't chuck them away.
Yeah, that's true. I'm surprised the B-Hop comparisons aren't made more often. Case is a wiley old fox, Katsidis had him in trouble a couple of times, so Casa either tied him up or smacked him in the nuts.
Definetely a slightly overlooked classic. It was that good combination of a faded great old fighter, versus a good, young, hungry up-and-comer. The KO was a thing of beauty as well. I think it was Casa's legacy moment.
I watched Lopez-Lontichi today. I'm not entirely convinced by Juanma, it didn't take much to get him off his game plan, and he didn't adapt well or seem particularly comfortable when Lontichi was using spoiling tactics. If a slightly more accomplished or seasoned fighter could take a similar approach, I can see Juanma losing on points in the not too distant future. The American commentators were annoying as well, talking Juanma up to the high heavens, then during the fight when Lotichi was just about hanging on, going way over the top with their praise for him, being 'an incredible warrior' and all that. (before he quit, not that I blame him).
