Gotta Agree with you. I stayed up to watch that and i was really annoyed by Juanma he has a bit of Trinidad in him if things aren't going his way he gets wound up and starts turning nasty. He fell short with shots and made a mess of the fight at times. His last few fights i haven't been impressed with. He seems to rely on continual pressure but he will need to adapt to fighting movers who won't fall down.
Just watched Cintron-Margarito 2. Very under-rated fight in my view, Margarito quite simply could not miss with body shots and no surprise that it was a body shot that produced the stoppage.
There is a bit of petulance in Juanma, he needs to realise that his opponents aren't always going to let him fight in the way he wants. He needs to learn to adapt, in this fight he just got frustrated, and really didn't have a plan 'b'. He's really impatient as well, he had Lontichi hurt at one point, and went diving hin to finish him, which obviously ended with Lontichi tying him up and the moment was gone. If he had stayed off and picked his punches, waiting for the opening he could have got him out of there. Juanma's game needs a lot of polish. And I'm hesitant to use his name in the same breath as Tito, at this point.
Totally agree with you he's not on Tito's or Miguel's level yet. He needs to perfect his craft to spoken in same breath as them two and the many other Puerto Rican greats. I like his compact style but he smothers his work at times and also against a mover he seems to fall in. I see him getting in trouble against a good counter puncher but in saying that he is very talented just needs to improve and he can become this atg some people are already calling him.
im going to upload like crazy to get my ratio up to 1 just for them i know a way to download more than 2 things at once
