The lightweights are pretty stacked though, to get in that top 10-15 a fighter has to be something exceptional. I think KB was just slightly below that.

Ken Buchanan is one of the best ring generals i have seen, maybe your right about hes not quite that level but hes by far the best of the next tier

He was for a Brit fighter, but he's not top 15 in that division IMHO.

I think he is, i dont see much pure boxers at LW beating him because of his Ring General ship and determination

 

What the **** was that Duran **** all about? I hate it when the ending of fights are not very clear cut like that.... they haunt souls!

I wouldn't be surprised if Ken was in the top ten greatest lightweights ever though.

 

Duran was hitting after the bell in most rounds. so in the 13th Ken throws afew after the bell so Duran whacks him in the nuts and ruptures Kens testies. But the ref dosent see it and never refs another title bout.

Some guys have Ken in the top 10, id have him top 15 but i dont do lists. If you ever need to watch for ring generalship watch Ken

 

To me it didn't look like Duran punched him in the balls at all though.

 

well th air of the punch didnt burst his teste did it?

i thought it was a punch underneath the ball guard but its hard to see form the angle as Duran is in the way
