WTF happened in my absence?! Pater, as much as I like Barrera-Morales I, you know full well that all 3 of Izzy and Rafas bouts in the trilogy are better:deal:good.

MAB vs Morales 1 is the greatest fight ever IMO the skill level by Morales at the start of round 5 was very impressive with a feinted jab left hook right at the start of the round then 5 straight right hands thrown from good angles. wow then MAB comes on striong all in the same round

that fight combined everything thats good with boxing

Izzy vs rafa is a great trilogy id rank it below Barrera vs Morales as i feel the first 2 are very overrated. The 3rd fight is epic though and nearly as good as Mab vs Morales just not quite.

Really? I love all three of them. That's the good thing about this thread- everyone has a different opinion on different fights. I'll be watching Barrera-Morales III next and then Zaragoza-Morales as my El Terrible mood picks up some speed:yep.

yeh i must have some of the most waywardly opinions on here, i dont like most of the classics. whats good about the Izzy vs Rafa trilogy is taht they get better each time.

MAB vs Morales 3 is a good un aswell not as good as the first, not as technical as the second either.

Havent saw Zaragoza vs Morales but Zaragoza looks like a Gargoyle dont you think?

want a laugh watch Zaragoza vs MccUllough where Larry Merchant attacks an Irishman :rofl:rofl

I like Zaragoza like a gargoyle looking JMM.

:lol:Yeah he does a bit- he works for Nacho now on the pads as well doesn't he. TBH, I haven't seen the Zaragoza fight either- that's why I'm gonna make a point of watching it later. I think everyone has seen the Merchant vid you're on about, though!:rofl

didnt know he worked with Nacho now but there both kinda odd looking make a great team. 2 of the cleverest mexicans i have seen (in terms of strategy etc...)

    Hamed vs McCullough

JMM vs Joel Casamayor - Very good fight and a great win for JMM, even if it is a slighty past prime Casa.

My favourite ever fight: DLH vs. Vargas aka 'Bad Blood'

Perfect example of a good fighter vs. a great boxer.

Reminded me how great DLH was. I would say around 1999 (Quartey, Trinidad) was his physical prime, but this was his most accomplished performance, IMO. He had power in both hands, very good footwork and lateral movement, really adept at catching shots on his gloves, great jab, great chin, very quick, very precise and had a nice variety of punches.

Also watched DLH vs. Mayorga aka 'Danger Zone'

Was an entertaining fight and a very good performance from an aged DLH. Totally outclassed Mayorga, but I thought DLH was a bit faded, his hands were pretty far apart and his defence wasn't as tight as it used to be. Not quite as much spring in his step either. Still a pretty decent version of the Golden Boy though. Should have called it a day after this, would have been perfect.

Due to my ban (cheers Freddie- you're the best) I haven't been able to post on here a while so here goes:

Finished off my Morales mood with Morales-Barrera III.

To further establish my opinion on the way that the Pavlik-Williams fight will go, I assessed Williams in the last few days like I did with Pavlik last week.
    Williams-Margo
    Williams-Quintana I
    Williams-Quintana II
    Williams-Kolle
    Williams-Phillips

In summary, I'm still not changing my mind; Williams UD:good.

Due to Ishy's new avvy, I found myself in a Katsidis mood and it was a good thing too!
Katsidis-Earl. Sadly, I could only watch rounds 4 and 2 and in that order as well!:patsch
    Katsidis-Amonsot
    Katsidis-Casamayor

Found myself in a bit of a Hatton mood as well.
    Hatton-Castillo
    Hatton-Pacquiao

I also watched Froch-Pascal (been a while since I've last seen it) and Gonzalez-Niida (only pissing Gonzalez fight on youtube:-():good.

Decent last few days of fights:good.
