    DLH was tired, McCall was crazy and not fit to fight anyway. There were medical reports before hand that he wasn't fit to fight.

    Ahh this. I remember watching the fight and wondering WTF he was doing. It was like he wanted to prove to himself that he could be in the ring again without being KOd or something so he just hung out for a while...till he got KOd.

    But he looked so relaxed. I mean he really looked OK to me. But he was ****ed on the cards, he needed a KO by round 8!

    It is one of the strangest thing i've ever seen. At the end of round one Johnson went back to his corner and his man said: "That's what it's going to take to win this fight. That every round." And I thought, "yeah, right."

    Fair play to Johnson, he just about managed it.

    Would it have made any difference?

    Jost postponing the inevitable.

    Tszyu was a finisher and there was little doubt what would have happened next, given the state of Zab's legs.

    On the thread topic, why didn't Jones retire after Ruiz, or even after Tarver (1)?
