I swear Atlas is psychic in reverse....only times I ever seen him get his predictions right, was when it was a complete total blow out mismatch....he's picked Hatton, Chagaev, in the more recent fights and both have lost in the same fashion he predicted their opponents would lose.

That man is a walking, talking, curse.

I don't know why, but I find this absolutely hilarious!

But it is rather silly, considering that the guy who humiliated him was, well, white.:yep

The thing that I noticed about Chagaev is that he had plenty of head movement when he was OUTSIDE of jabbing range. As soon as he got close enough to hit he stuck up that high guard and just tried to block the shots, didn't move his head at all. I don't think he could even see the jab coming at him thru his gloves.

Tyson would be slipping that jab and killing that ribcage, coming up to the head all night long. I don't think Wlad would have a prayer of keeping Tyson on the end of his jab like that.

Here's the thing Lennox and Vitali would not go undefeated in the 80s. They would more than likely struggle against fighters that Tyson blew away.

    As for Tillis and Green,

Name me a 19 year old HW past or present that would have beaten James Tillis more decisively. Or Mitch Green for that matter. Keep in mind Mitch Green was fighting to survive and as a result lost about 9 of 10 rounds.

Sultan Igrabimov was fighting to survive and as a result Wlad couldnt put him away. Not Wladimir's fault, entirely because it happens in boxing.

Tyson was not lucky to have be born in that era, Rather Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, Michael Moorer and Lennox Lewis are all lucky that Tyson was imprisoned because they would forever fall in his shadow and they would be called B rated fighters by guys who look to undermine from an armchair.

That wasn't prime Tyson.. if you want to see Tyson at his best you have to look at him before he even beat Spinks and DEFINITELY before he met Robin Givens, it was all over after that. Tyson was REALLY Tyson in 1986, when he still trained like he wanted to be a champion. Is he the best in boxing history? No... but he isn't vastly overrated either. One of the most dangerous men to walk the planet during his too-short prime. Tillis and Green were holding on for dear life and doing everything except fighting against him. Tillis was willing to do ANYTHING not to get hit again after the 4th rd KD, much like Jesse Ferguson. Tyson completely dominated Green. You going to knock Tyson because he didn't brutally KO EVERY opponent he faced? Those are some pretty tough standards to live up to for a fighter.

By the time Tyson fought Holyfield he was DONE. What was his best victory after that fight? Botha?
