Williams's workrate isn't going to be worth much when he isn't connecting cleanly the whole night (unless this fight has the same judges as Hopkins-Calzaghe).

Williams is completely unproven and untested above 154. Winky is very very comfortable there, and was considerably tricky for someone as strong as Hopkins away up at 170.

Winky will be the stronger man in the ring, his jab is better than Williams's, his defence is better, he has far greater experience of top level battles with top level comp, and even if Williams does hit him cleanly, he won't be able to hurt Winky enough to come close to a stoppage.

For all his ring-rust etc, cream rises to the top. Winky is a top 5 p4p marquee fighter and will outbox and outfight Williams. :bbb

    You ******* !

I argued at length the other night as to how Winky should be the most educated choice and I was picking him to 'upset' the Punisher.

Now you've gone and jinxed the man !

I wish Winky well. He has been a very good boxer. He will beat Williams if he has not lost much, but the ref and judges are in favor of Williams.

Farmy, I honestly believe that Winky will be so dominant that nobody will be able to deny him victory.

I have a gut feeling that he will outbox Williams also, just hope he can get by the biased judges and ref. Quintana outboxed Williams, Winky is better than Quintana and Winky has a good chin, Quintana does not.

Rummy, I hope you are correct, my gut has been saying Winky also, let's hope. Winky deserves some credit for his fine career.

Winky hasn't fought for a while and he has gotten older. I think P.Will will take advantage of winky early and win rounds early. Winky doesn't have the KO power that can put P.Will away so i think P.Will will win this fight by Decision.

    Two things:

    1. I think the importance of Winky's lay-off is being ovrstated by many.

    2. Winky may not have the power to KO Paul, but Winky is the better puncher and the naturally stronger fighter. I think his punches are going to affect Paul more than most suspect.
