tall + heavy + agility = you are always going to be very hard to beat. In terms of who is the GOAT, Louis and Ali are so far ahead of the pack its silly. But the truth of the matter is both were often taller, and/or heavier than their competing peers. For Ali, it was only really Big George who rivalled him in those stakes. In the 1930s Primo Carnera was a glimpse of the future to come. But Ali and Louis were both big men for their respective eras. But since the 90s the ever expanding talent pool of big men has resulted in them adding dexterity to their size. H2H Fury cannot be dismissed p.s. I just spent the afternoon charting the Ring Magazine top 10 by decade (using Rummy's stats). I charted them by weight and height. I'll try to post it all up tomorrow or something.
It’s threads like this that make me wonder why people even have the time to want to make troll threads like this
After Fury beats both Joshua and Wilder in the same year I think its fair to put Fury right behind Ali in the GOAT LIST
The winner for me arguably is cracking the top 10 of all time heavyweights but not remotely close to GOAT.
No bar Fury, AJ and Usyk this era is wank in terms of potential HOF talent, especially when a 39yo Povetkin is still laying out a supposed top 5 heavyweight in Whyte.
Talk about living in the moment... Beats 40 year old Wladdy setting the record for fewest landed punches in a title win in a close fight. The other guy beat 40 year old Wladdy in a barn burner almost getting KO'd along the way. Fury has no depth to his resume. Much much closer to Ingemar than to Lennox. Joshua's been KO'd already.
