The sad thing about the mega fight between the two is that the winner still won't be the best welterweight in the world. If Mosley spanks Berto it will put a ****** wrench in the whole thing. Mosley still will be the man to beat

Then the winner of Mayweather-Pacquiao should fight the winner of Mosley-Berto.

It's not really sad... heck it's a good thing that there are still challenges to be taken for whoever is wins the Pac-Mayweather fight...

Yeah. As long as SSM is there, we really can't say who's the best WW until he is defeated..

I'd actually like to see Mosley fight Mayweather for the RIGHT to fight Pacquiao.

Pac has just destroyed the guy who beat Mosley who is the same guy that Floyded avoided.

    Co-signed. :good
But it ain't happening. If anything, Pac could even fight Shane instead if somehow fight does not get made. Nothing's impossible.

Thats what should of happened but Mayweather would rather have all these guys destroy each other first then fight the damaged survivor while he feasts on easy fights.

They might not have the titles but the winner will undoubtedly be considered the man at the weight. Berto isn't one of the top tier welterweights and a win over him has no significance in relation to a win over a Pacquiao or a Mayweather.

Right now, the welterweight top dogs are:

    1. Mosley (the rightful champion)
    2. Pacquiao
    3. Floyd (has not beaten a decent welter in ages)

It's a shame that Mosley cannot land a big fight.

Well, I think Mosley is going to be fired-up for this fight with Berto.

The way he sees it (I am sure) is that the lottery just went from four to three.

Cotto is out of the picture.

If he beats Berto, he should get the winner of Floyd-Pac.

Berto showing his dedication by ballooning up between fights, showing his excellent attitude on twitter after having a career so far in which hes been previously knocked down by journeyman, and given a gift (lost IMO) to Collazo. This man should not be in the top 5 much less a belt holder. Mosley will expose all this in the ring
