I honestly don't think Joe beat his women. He did slap and choke Lena Horne once, but that was out of extreme frustration. Joe felt awful about it and actually failed to attend a golfing tournament the next day as he was feeling so miserable about it.

I haven't found any information that Joe regularly hit women.

*Just to add, Marva (his first wife) never complained about any physical abuse.

I know you suffer from hero worship when it comes to boxers, but a lot of the seedier sides of boxing like Ali hitting his wife/girlfriend over her shirt being too short are such common knowledge that digging up something concrete is pointless. They're KNOWN facts.

Also, maybe you should poke your head into the sorrid stories thread. I'm not the one who came out with the professional ****** allegation. Several people in that thread mentioned it.

You know the women that got him hooked on drugs, who supposedly injected him when he was out of it, was a prostitute right?

You really think Jack Dempsey working in a ***** house to break in women is unrealistic considering his origins and the times?
