Have you ever seen the MMA fight involving a man with no arms and no legs? The guy who was an accomplished high school wrestler, also did motivational speeches and stuff. Very fit and strong individual but it was obvious his opponent in his MMA bout was taking it very easy and mostly just grappling. Still, my hats off.

There was also a MMA fighter a few years ago who strung together quite a few submission victories despite only having one arm... thing is, he kind of had like a fleshy hook where he was missing his arm and if he got that thing around your neck and started to torque down with his other arm, there was really no conventional way to break his grip. It was actually really hilarious to see guys getting choked out in such a unique fashion, he was like some kind of crippled kung-fu master who had retained his ability on enhanced senses of some kind after losing one of them... :risas3:

    Seriously hope they got paid.

And not just whatever peanuts debut 4-rounders in Australia would normally fetch in usual circumstances.

It was the draw card at the fight where, Allan “The Snake” Shipley beat James “The Giant” Fallon on points for the International Little Men Federation world title.

I'm now irrationally sad on behalf of Fallon. Not one but two separate chances to claim "I won a boxing title" (however contrived for cheap entertainment they were) and in the first he faces a ridiculously unfair deficit in size and in the next comes up just short with a SD loss. :xqw

If these men and corners are treating it seriously then we as fans should to. They're people stepping into the ring against another man and putting their life and health on the line doing it.

That alone deserves a deep respect.

He'd actually use his stump in combinations pretty often. I thinks it is an interesting decision he didn't have to wear some kind of pad or something on it. It got treated like anybody else's elbow but it was longer and he could get great leverage on it.

Also super useful for the ground game since it's skinny point would get around most traditional defense that would work for punches.

Agreed. There was no headgear and the punches weren't pulled...Kheir actually clipped Fallon with a couple of bombs that if you give due consideration, is the proportionate equivalent of, say, Héctor Camacho taking a right hand from Michael Spinks.
