Easily Jorge Castro TKO9 John David Jackson. This fight defines snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
re: Ali-Foreman When I left the close circuit site I thought "Ali won the battle, but lost the war". As a Minister in Houston, George once said: "When I see him today, I wish I had never hit the man".
Don't think that fight effected him nearly as badly as the fights against Frazier. He took some great body-shots against Foreman, but not too much to the head. The win that took the most out of Ali was undoubtely the last against Frazier. He should have quit after that.
The 15th round of the Ali-Shavers fight was simply incredible. It was reminiscent of the Battle of the Bulge. Both men landing big shots and inflicting painful bruises on the other. Ali was the best in history at stealing rounds and willing himself to victory late in fights. He did just that in this fight battering the acorn savagely with headshots in the last 30 seconds of round 15. The brave and exhausted Shavers was badly hurt and ready to go. That was Ali for you.
Beat me to it! I cannot legitametly give more than 1 rd to castro...and even 1 is not concrete...jackson dismantled him and when he pinned him to the ropes in what seemed to be him closing out a dominant performance...he lowers his hands and his guard ..and castro lands...the end...good call
Bowe vs Golota II Bowe shouldn't have been allowed to continue after rd5 or it should've been stopped in the second when he was absorbing punishment on the ropes. they say he showed a lot of heart atsch ... It was just ****in stupid and sad. Btw when Golota quit against Tyson everyone labelled him as a coward. He was ****in injured!!! There was sth wrong with his cheek bone or sth... Anyway he should've punched that ****er that was interviewing him in the dressing room after the fight. Maybe this would satisfy those idiots screaming at Golota and throwing things at him. Maybe he himself wouldn't mind becoming disabled ****** just to give them their portion of morbid entertainment.
