26/11/2004 - Bonson v Booth!! Wow. Do you think two boxers must have pulled out of the same show and these guys just agreed to slug it out?
I don't mind journeymen like Buckley to be honest, other notables included Mark Ramsey and Karl Taylor. The ones that really get on my wick are the ones that don't even try to fight, always getting KO'd straight away.
Years ago we had a pro fighter in our gym. I think his last name was White, don't remember his first name. He was a cop, and a very tough street guy at about 160-170lbs. However about 2-3 times a year he would fight a pro fight under different names?, and get his ass KO'ed. The story was that he had lost almost 30 fights (all by KO) without a win? Even though i was a lightweight. I used to love to spar with him, while he was very tough, it was like boxing a heavy bag with legs. You couldn't miss him. Plus he was slow, and had no punch to speak of. He has to rank up with some of the worst of all time.
theres a fella called noel quorless (dnt no whether his second name is spelt right) who had something like 30 fights and won none i cant remember his exact record and cant find it on boxrec...anyone else heard of him
