The worst boxing fans in Britain...

lol.... Its great... I loved the doors purely for that reason, I never ever picked on or bullied anybody but people always loved to start on me. I'm dead friendly and chatty so you'd always get the people who took that for weakness. It was great watching them get a right shock. Don't get me wrong i'm not Mike Tyson but I always acted morally so whn I did deal with something it was always when I was firmly on good moral grounds so I had no hesitaion in giving it some welly! lol

 

with khan fans i think theres a bit of racism on both sides, almost every time i'm in a bar in England and khans fighs are being broadcasted on TV theres always a group of arse holes who kick off with the racist abuse, i get the impression that alot of people unconsously want khan to loose when he fights another british fighter whether he's a scot,welsh or irish.
i'v come across khan supporters a few times and have mixed opinions, alot of them appear to be khan loyaists rather then real boxing supporters, and many of them are rather arrogant.

 

I put a couple of stories on here many moons ago and they were well recieved always very paranoid about sounding like i'm blowing my own trumpet but wouldn't mind putting it into book form one day... I had some amazing experiances and there are no books about a 10st wet through, joe average working the doors - there all about freakishly hard, giants.

I never had much problems with door men. I do not drink so I do not act a tough nut dick head often either. :hey

Not drinking also helps me keep out of dickheads way when you can see trouble about to start. I never go out with people who are the type to cause trouble even though a few are actuall real tough men.

The best thing I ever witnessed was my uncle and his mate getting attacked by a bunch of ferral youths outside a pizza parlour. About 8 or 9 drunk teenagers ganging up on these two was priceless viewing. The youths had been attacking drunken blokes on thier way home from the pub for a couple of week but that night they picked the wrong two fella's to mess with. My uncle is tough but his mate is a former kick boxing champion and a big bloke, looks like a 6' 2" neanderthal. I sat and ate my chips while they cleaned up.

One of my mates who shall remain nameless is a professional MMA fighter. We worked the doors together- lets just say he is probably the illest person I know not officially disabled and he belongs about as far away from a door as possible.

Every time he goes out violence seems to follow him. Not good when your classed as an associate. I've stopped going out with him now... still a mate but one that I try and not socialise with unless its absolutely nessacary. Lovely lad on his own... put him in the wrong scenario and he's a nightmare.

 

Yep. Those types who just want him to lose because he's asian or muslim are real scum.

I over heard a dickhead talking about Haye after his Enzo fight and saying he would knock him out if he saw him wearing the cresent symbol. It is a match up I would gladly see, especially as the lad was about 5' 6 and 250 pounds.

 

lol one of my first doors was with a guy I shall call Big John.... he was the stereo typical old school doorman, absolute ledge.... He was a southerner, looked and sounded the bollox. And used to walk around with a mashed, jeremy beadle type right hand where he punched so incredibly hard.

 

Yep. My best mate has issues when drunk. We usually go out on a weekend but never to Barnsley or around the locals. I drive out of town and we have a few quiet ones. He is awful when drunk, he starts mouthing at people and chatting up peoples gf's. He often does abit of mindless vandelism too and his brothers are well known smack heads so people target him and he rises to the bait. He aint tough and im not tough enough to get him out of stuff. When he is not drunk he is fine and causes no trouble, luckily for him he has given up the booze.

 

I agree. Add religion to a vacant mind, stir it a few times and you have a racist idiot.

I've studied islam objectively as a religion, I find some aspects of it horryfying but it has no bearing on how I judge someone as a person. Religion really is something so very sensative that i'd rather not go into it on here.
