The Worst Boxing Match You've Ever Seen

Honestly, I was pretty damn young when I watched this fight, maybe 15 or 16, but I scored it a draw, much to the dismay of my friends. They asked me why and I asked them what their scores where, which they replied 'Haye won'. So I asked them again, they said they weren't scoring it round by round, but Haye won easily. I to this day still think it was razor close and Haye got pretty lucky considering he barely took a step forward all night, which may have seemed odd considering I was a supporter of Haye at this stage of his career. Rewatchng the fight might prove what I've said wrong, but I wouldn't wish that upon myself or anyone else in a million years... Even if it was the last the last remaining fight on earth.

 

It was at the Sydney Olympics and although I loved almost everything about those games the boxing was a bit of a low point. Only due to the terrible judging. We watched an Aussie get battered for 3 rounds and then get the decision. All the crowd booed, Aussies as well. It made it worse being at the Olympics, there wasn't even the pro cynicism to take the edge off.

 

Who was the Aussie, do you recall? Danny green?

 

I'm embarassed to say I don't! Don't think it was Green. I had a quick look and his first round fight was stopped in the fourth which wasn't how I recall this bout. In my head it was an Eastern European or Eurasian that got swindled, but maybe my memories playing tricks on me. At the time I was watching an awful lot of different sports although I'd been especially looking forward to the boxing.

Oh well Ill throw a green fight in there, green v stripe drews, paid for the ppv at home, huge let down for lhw title fight.

SOB cheating in the Kovalev fight, landing low blows, esp. the three blows to Kovalev's testicles in an upward motion. Tony Weeks had to have seen those blows, so he must have been paid off or very biased. That fight should have a rematch with neutral judges, referee, boxing commission and venue., better still, have it in Russia, after all, SOB always has his American corrupt judges, referee, boxing commission. Kovalev would take care of that criminal piece of fecal matter no doubt. A fight in Russia would be the same as a fight in America for SOB, only it would have a level playing field, that's all Kovalev needs. SOB needs to cheat. Here is the proof

This was the most disgraceful fight I have ever seen period! This was outright cheating, hell, they didn't even hide it. Bob Bennett refuses to even review that video! Video and still pictures, SOB should be in the Hall Of Shame!

a japanese bantam and a azerbajan fighter both whose names i have not got a clue off
the japanese fighter decked the azerbajani 5 or 6 times and the azerbajan fighter should have been pulled by the ref aas he was so out on his feet

the ref was from gerogia/uzbekistan or one of the neighbouring azerbajan states and never gave a single count or standing count and even helped him get up

the axerbajan won on points much to the crowd displeasure in a shocking ref display

not looked up see if the ref was then banned.
also mention reid v ottke as blatant cheating by a ref to help his fighter.
