    1. The WBC for sanctioning a World title fight for a belts at 2 different weights Lalonde v Leonard for Lalonde's light heavy weight belt, and for the vacant super middle belt.

    2. The WBC for making Vitali Klitchko Emiritus champion

    3. The WBA for 'Super Champions' - Anthony Mundine I am sure will dissagree

    4. Interim Champions - Joel Casamayor even unified WBO & WBC interim belts whilst the substantive title holders were making regular defences

    5. The WBO for sanctioning Morrison v Tomashek

    6. The IBF for not sanctioning Hatton v Mallignaggi

the casamayor thing was more of a sorry note or peace token from the wbc.

last year and a bit the wba had 3 cruiserwieght champions.

Super champ is embarrassing, I havnt had the bottle to explain it to one of my casual fan mates...utterly cringeworthy.

Vitali has not been the only CHAMPION EMIRITUS for the WBC. I can't name the others though.

Interim-Champs have me scratching me head, WTF?

you can come up with a list of 100 for them all. but to be fair to the IBF they are the most, diplomatic of the abcs. they have there rules and they stick to them, and they enforce mandatorys and dont let promoters pay them or the ranked fighters off.

hatton vs mallignaggi is a perfect example, sure this was a top class fight but mallignaggi was told that he had to fight Ndjoudo not hatton. hatton had given up there belt twice before, why would they let him fight for the title.

interim titles make more sense than what the WBA do which is just allow have 3 champs at each weight.

you no the WBO once ranked a fighter that had been dead for 3 months, he was never in there top 15, he died, 3 months later was in the top 10 LOL

Casa was stripped of his interim title for refusing to rematch Santa Cruz and for fighting for another belt. It's impossible to unify interim belts.

The WBC stripping Joel Casamayor to make David Diaz-Erik Morales fight for the 'official' WBC LW championship - of course to clear path for Mexican Morales' 4th division try. When Joel threatened to sue, they simply gave him the interim belt, previously held by Diaz.

Also, how the hell could the WBO sanction the Williams-Phillips fight for the 'interim LMW championship' when the real champion, Dzinziruk was available?

Not only allowing to fight but WBC allowed Mexican Oscar Larios (who suffered brain damage in the Linares fight and was banned from every US ring permanently) to fight for the interim WBC FW belt, becoming Linares' mandatory. Now Linares is gone, but Yuriorkis Gamboa is most likely going to be his mandatory. Gamboa is the last fighter on this Planet a brain damaged Oscar Larios wants to fight, remember where you heard it first. Don Jose Sulaiman can do me a favor.

Since this thread started the WBA have exceed themselves.
    • 2 WBA Heavy Weight Champions
    • A Vacant Light weight Super championship fight
The EBU have not covered themselves in glory by allowing Skelton to not put his belt on the line against an eligable contender over the championship distance, and thus denying his opponent a belt.

The WBC for allowing Jorge Arce to reign as interim WBC Flyweight champ while the real WBC Flyweight champ, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, continued to make defences of his title in Thailand.

At some point they should have been made to fight each other. Instead, the WBC pretended that they were both world champions and put their hands out for the additional sanctioning fees.

Neither had to make any mandatory defences. Disgraceful situation when you consider the WBC has been perfectly happy in the past to strip distinguished champions of titles for not fighting undeserving mandatories.

WBC stripping Jones Jr of the Lt heavyweight title because he was in talks to move up to heavyweight and fight Buster Douglas...Not only did they strip him but they ordered Nunn vs Rocco to the vacate title, only to have Jones not move up...They then changed the title fight into an interim title, and gave the full title back to Jones..One on the worst ****ups in recent times, all so they wouldnt miss one ****ing fight without fees...

The WBA stripping Vasquez of his title before Hamed KO'd him.

Hamed had the WBO, WBC and IBF titles, if the WBA hadn't stripped Vasquez, Naz would have officially unified the division, instead he did it unofficially.
