    I remember now:lol:

I'm a bigger MAB fan than a Hamed one, never really liked Naseem. I just fail to see that his skills didn't decline to a degree, he lost focus later on and Steward didn't enforce the discipline to keep him straight and narrow.

As a side note, he never beats MAB, loses to Morales and is knocked out by JMM in my book.

I dunno. The personal drama that came with his super stardom seemed to tear Tyson down as much as his firing of Rooney did.

Personally, I could never quite understand where the idea ever came from. Hamed's skills diminished after leaving Ingle? Evidenced by what exactly? He was getting tagged and knocked down as early as 1997. Kevin Kelley was never a great fighter, and yet Hamed was made to look painfully ordinary when the two fought. I distinctly remember Ingle being in Hamed's corner for that one.

Arguably Hamed's greatest ever performance was against Bungu, a year before he was to fight MAB, with Steward in his corner.

This video alone pretty much says everything there is to be said. Hamed was always hittable, always beatable, but it took a truly world class fighter in MAB to prove it. No more, no less.

Steward trained Prince in the most idiotic way possible. Steward is a one dimensional trainer.

    He's entitled to his opinion.

For me personally, rather than watch an agenda-driven documentary like Little Prince, Big Fight, I prefer to compare his performances before and after Ingle left him and draw my final conclusion that way. Hamed was hittable the day he turned professional. Granted, he had a lot success and almost seemed infallible as he was fighting lower level opposition like Robinson and Hardy, but when it came to stepping up to real world level he was hanging on. Kevin Kelley? Wayne McCullough? Augie Sanchez?

Talented fighter, don't get me wrong, but the only definitive difference between Hamed of '97 and the Hamed of '01 was the quality of opposition he was facing.

Atlas trained the youngest Tyson and made him ferocious and Cus took all the credit. Altas went with mike to the tournaents and coached him to stunning wins
    teddy wasnt even paid

but as a young guy Tyson was outta control and no one was able to do anything except atlas

when mike crossed the line with teddy, teddy took care of that - then the cowards dumped atlas as they just followed the money and didnt care if mike was an undisiplined young criminal or not they just cared that he got cash for them

As for Rooney he was and today still is drunk and was simply in the right place and at the right time !

    Suckk it up !

Steward said hamed didnt like to spar training for fights. Claimed it was like pulling teeth getting him to spar.

Steward will throw any fighter under the bus to deflect from the fact that he can only train fighters one way and adapts to no one. It also shows how shitty his character is.
