I agree with most of your post but believe me strum will not go near martinez because they will have to do a eulogy in the ring he will be destroyed, macklin landed the better shot controlled the fight and made sturm afraid to lead off his jab for fear of being countered, did you see sturms ribs???????:!:

I completely agree with you about martinez dominating sturm, but that fight will happen because money will dictate it.
Sturm did look a little red around the ribs lol
He should also be red faced after that callamity decision :rofl

The people going on about German Robbery when this fight was clearly a close fight.

Watch the Beyer v Green 1 that was a robbery

I agree with most that you are saying but I very much doubt he will face martinez, sergio isnt a big money draw unfortunately and sturm has a sweet deal with the german telivision that he just signed with for 5 more fights, he can easily keep fighting guys like thomas hearns son and cash in decent money, he has no ambition at all to enhance his legacy it seems, dude is 32 it makes sense that he is just in it for the man basically.
Martinez beats sturm, im pretty sure of that 9-3 type decision is what I think, without his belt his hussle basically ends, therefore macklin 2 or even someone else thats easier is more likely I think.

Not really. He won his title on points in Germany against the home fighter. End of discussion.

This is the first time I hear German boxing fans go against a decision. Normally they cover it up by it happens elsewhere.

Yeah it happens elsewhere, but not as often as in Germany
The Sturm - ODLH fight has often been used to justify fights in Germany.

The best Danish boxers are under a German promoter, and fight often in Germany, I will rather see them loose. Then see them adopting the German way of winning.

It sometimes seems like the boxing styles has changed to suit the extra help:
    - do nothing in the first 4 rounds.
    - win the last 20-30 seconds of the next 6.
    - use the saved energy in the last 2 rounds.

The Danish media where very hard on former promoter Team Palle, whenever something fishy happened at his events.

Perhaps the German Tour de France journalist team should take a look at German boxing. I know they are tough.

I’m glad to see a lot of Germans have stopped lying to themselves, and admitted that something is wrong in German boxing.

Before we used to talk about Italy, Denmark and the UK. now it is Germanys turn. So stop making excuses.

    These things kill boxing.

Most people who had it as a close fight did so because they factored in kraut home cooking. I scored it a draw, but in any other country I'd have it for Macklin by a couple of rounds. Clearly kraut bull**** exceeded my expectations.
