The 2nd and 3rd are impossible to score for Pacqiuao IMO. Unless you're trying to.

No I tend to agree. I had Johnson 1 point up at the end but it was very, very close. Literally, at least half or more of the rounds could have gone either way IMO because they were that tight. I already respected Johnson before the fight but, even though I had him losing, my admiration for Cloud only grew afterwards because of the effort he put in.

Was a really enjoyable fight in my opinion.

The third fight could go to Paciquao 7/5 with the benefit of doubt on his side.

    I - 113-112 Pacquiao
    II - 114-113 Pacquiao
    III - 114-114

All 3 were ridiculously close IMO. Marquez was just unlucky and probably unlikely to get the decision due to being slightly more negative in those fights (not knocking him at all, just saying that walking forward has always caught the judges eyes more)

I was going to edit it after I looked on Boxrec, but I thought that'd be cheating. :D

In all honesty I forgot about the KO loss, and I've never even seen it.

I scored the third for JMM, maybe 117-111. Don't remember. I think it was fairly straight forward to score, too.

    Martinez vs Cintron :deal
I know I mentioned it earlier but I just watched it again,
Martinez knocks out Cintron, and wins on points in the same fight and still only gets a draw:nut

It's mad the old cliche of "You need a knockout to get a draw", I never thought I'd actually see it.

    Madness! Agree!

  12. If you like aggression, you can make a case for Pac getting the nod in the 2nd fight.

I prefer to look at the body language of the two fighters at the end, he actually believed he won the first fight, he was shocked getting the nod in the 2nd, and in the 3rd knew he'd been well beaten but expected his hand to be raised.

Usually both fighters instinctively raise their arms on the bell - in the 3rd fight he just sulked and walked to his corner.

How about Joe Louis getting the nod against Jersey Joe Walcott in their first fight?

They say a fighter's reaction is key. Here we see Joe Louis ty to leave the ring after the final bell, only to be convinced otherwiese by his corner. In contrast, Walcott raises his arm in triumph. After the decision is read out, Louis hardy celebrates, Walcott cries in the corner, and the pro- louis crowd boo the decision.
