Bit of a strange one, but what is the WORST trilogy to take place in boxing?

I imagine that if there had been a third fight between Ruiz and Valuez that that would take some beating, but can anybody think of two fighters that have got into the ring and had three stinkers together?

    All i got is:

    Ruiz vs Holyfield

I would assume that to get to a trilogy the previous fights would've had to be entertaining or atleast somewhat untriguing. If the fights are boring nobody would want to see a trilogy.

    Bowe-Holyfield. :deal

we need williams vs harrison 3 or sprott vs harrison 3

  5. Holyfield vs Ruiz is the worst one that immediately springs to mind.

Williams vs Sprott can't have made great viewing, or Kell Brook vs Ernie Smith.

Phill Fury vs Louis Byrne. Great battle that the first war was you really think Phill would have stepped it up after that rather than face him two more times. If Fury is to become the undisputed champion he needs to step it up you would think.

Oh, didn't see the one above.

  15. I think sometimes there's a 3rd fight for the sake of it to be honest.

    Gatti vs Ward
    Pacquiao vs Morales
    Leonard vs Duran

Are a few that didn't really need a 3rd fight.

    Pacquiao vs Marquez
    Barrera vs Morales
    Marquez vs Vazquez

Are a few where the 3rd fight was necessary.

Leonard vs Hearns merited a 3rd fight.

What really does me is when there's a rematch of a completely **** fight, like Dawson vs Tarver, or VIP wanting Froch vs Dirrell II. Why?????
