its sad to watch them......theyve been complaining about other guys for awhile about how they conduct themselves.....and now its "why should ggg...blah blah" and "well what about ward and kovalev".......trying to turn things around when theyve accused fighters, who have accomplished alot more than ggg, of much worse.....

    :deal

I love watching how they make themselves look like idiots when defending the 164lb catchweight in one breath then criticizing Floyd for not fighting a middleweight in the next. Pure comedy.

    LOL...

David Lemieux = Joachim Alcine [WHO?!?] left overs - and this is the best they could do opponent-wise for Bumlovkin's first PPV.

Kinda makes you wonder why the Triple Duck is even taken seriously...

    we all know why

he gives people that aura of invincibility....that feeling of being bulletproof....that they all lost when manny got embarrassed by his dad jmm and then floyd.......ggg helps them recapture that....and fighting ward puts an end to that....fighting b- level guys keeps that feeling alive and well with no threat to end in sight

even kelly pavlik beat rubio ...and that was after he crushed 34 pabst's

I think GGG-Ward would resemble Ward-Froch, that's why I'm not particularly excited about the fight, stylistically it just doesn't mesh well for GGG, Ward is pretty much his "counter" not only in terms styles but he's also a bigger man too, I can only see this going one way.

Still, after GGG proves himself undisputably to be the best MW, I'd love to see that fight whether I think GGG wins or not.

    LMFAO.

There is a GolovIdiot in this thread who had the audacity to claim that Bumlovkin is "the best middleweight since Hopkins". LOL. Taylor, Pavlik and Martinez would have absolutely SCHOOLED this guy.

I'm convinced that your typical GolovIdiot didn't start watching the sport until Bumlovkin debuted on HBO..

    uhhuh

man....weve been over this....everyone already considers him the best mw out there......what do you need to see in order to be convinced? i mean him beating canelo wouldnt be bad....him beating cotto proves nothing.....and there isnt another mw out there besides potentially canelo that proves anything or impresses anyone

so why does he have to "prove himself undisputably"??? its silly.....keep riding the wave though

We have but you keep insisting on the same. It doesn't matter what we think he can do, what he does is what matters, when GGG retires, nobody's going to look and say "Oh he's great because he WOULD have beaten that guy easily".

And besides all that, frankly, I'm more interested in the Cotto/Canelo anyhow, I just think they're better fights.

Skillswise, he most definitely is but I don't have him on my p4p list, not even in the top 10, too inactive and his last opponent was beyond poor.

I don't have GGG at the top either though, again maybe skillswise you can make a case for it but at best he's right now in the lower spots of the top 10 IMO, lacks a good name on his resume.

Golovkin hasn't sold PPV #1 yet. Come back one week after his next fight - then we can talk #s.

LOTS of people who are respected in the industry picked Hopkins. And as I remember, Hopkins had Kovalev swinging at air ALL night. It's really not a good look when you're supposed to be this awesome "power puncher" but you let a 50 year old man go 12 round with you. Not a good look at all.

Against Marco Antonio Rubio and Joachim Alcine [WHO?!?] leftovers. Lemieux' resume reads like a who's who of rejects from Joe Louis' Bum of the Month tour. Hanging your hat on the fact that Golovkin is fighting Lemiuex on PPV only demostrates how clueless you and the rest of the Golovkin crowd are. Whoever buys this **** clearly has more money than common sense. Sounds like K2 and Goldenboy are banking on the Golovkin crowd to blindly surrender their $49.95. Lol..

All while ducking Adonis Stevenson. Did Kathy Duva ever get her story straight as to exactly WHY they pulled out of that purse bid?

As it stands, if Bumlovkin were to retire today, he would only be a footnote in the long, storied history of the middleweight division. And that's being generous..

Yes. One of your fellow GolovIdiots made the claim in this very thread that Bumlovkin was "the best middleweight since Hopkins".

    That goes beyond simple delusion...

Exactly, so I find shock's argument completely erroneous, he needs to beat those middleweights just for his legacy because at the end of the day what you DO is what counts not what you COULD do but for whatever reason, haven't.

Canelo will win and he will fight GGG. I'm rooting for cotto not sure if he will fight GGG though. But there are plenty of would fighters out there for GGG.
