Gotta see how it plays out, Cotto's reason for not yet fighting GGG is the same as his not fighting Lara/Ward not enough money. Only difference is Cotto is taking a bigger fight than a GGG bout while Golovkin is taking lesser fight's.

Me personally I have Canelo beating Cotto & Golovkin so I don't really care how it plays out. I'm just saying looking at Cotto's MW fights it's hard to scream duck.

Alvarez is more popular, has a better resume, and has actually looked to challenge himself(that's not a duck that's a better opponent)
Geale was a tuneup vs a then top 5 MW who is also GGG's best win(not 100% a duck)
Martinez the true MW Champ(1st fight in the division).

Cotto probably is ducking considering it's his 4th division, but at this point I don't think it should be considered a duck yet.

 

His health comes first. That's why.

How is Cotto fighting Alvarez getting a pass when Alvarez has the better resume and is more popular?

 

alvarez does not have a better resume than cotto.. did you just make that up? a win over canelo is pretty good, but it isn't a better win than golovkin

GGG just wants the title thats the main thing even if he does not fight them as long as he gets the title its a win
