And Carl will say bring it on! These threads on here that JT lost the fight himself more than CF won it from him are nonsense. Granted, it wasn't CF's greatest performance but he won. At the end of the day winning is winning. He's got JT on his Cv now by KO. But the Yanks will have seen things they think they can expose in abundance. All these Dirrell's, Wards, Green's will be chomping at the bit. These fights will never happen because "if it dont make dollars, it dont make sense". Carl should get the big pay-days, unifications.

I'm ****ing rambling now. It's 4.48am what do you ****ing expect?

    Well done Carl.

    G'night

I would like it be known that I created the "Why are Americans underrating Froch" thread, saying it was a 50/50 fight and stating that Froch was the more confident and likely more focused fighter.

Although I didnt predict an outcome, I feel validated. Froch WAS NOT going to lose the fight, and despite being on his way to a UD loss, he brought the fight to Taylor, showed a fantastic chin, and knocked him OUT.

I dont feel like he was underrated, Im pretty sure everyone thought that taylor is levels above him in talent and skill, and he would most likley take the victory, barring his bad stamina(which allowed) froches heart/power to come in to tko him late. All those factors lead into tonights conclusion. I had froch tko 11 after being down on points and taylor gassing out

Froch deserved the win, but let's be serious, if Taylor lasts another couple of minutes all the threads on this site would be 'Taylor outpoints Froch'.

But that didn't happen and that's the point. Of course anything COULD happen, but it only matters what does!

As for people calling Froch a bum or lucky, they've probably never boxed a round in their lives. Do you have any idea what it takes to fight like that for 12-rounds -- losing a hard-fought battle -- only to find it within you to knock out the guy who has been winning?

Sure Taylor is the better boxer -- no doubt. And his punches have more pop. But stop saying that he would have won had he not gassed out. Stamina is tied to will, and will to win is an intangible that is every bit as essential to a fighter's arsenal as speed, skill or power. Froch showed that will and Taylor did not. So clearly Froch was the better overall fighter tonight.

He was underrated. I read dozens of "Froch is Brit Hype job, Taylor will knock him out (2-6)".

Did Froch get outclassed by Taylor? Yeah, he kinda did, Taylor gave him a ton of problems.

But Taylor also faded and lost a fight that he was winning, and Froch never got discouraged, never looked beaten, and even down to the wire he was NOT going to lose, and went for the KO.

Froch has HEART. Im gonna expect Taylor to be discouraged and probably beaten down mentally after this fight

Froch showed heart and the will to win, but the truth is he didnt dominate much of the fight. Maybe he will get better we will see. I give him credit for the TKO and it was a good win but theres alot more to do and I'm not sure if he's good enough.

Anyone who says Froch didn't win it all on his own is not worthy to watch another great fight. No one should ever read or pay attention to their words ever again. Froch is a tough great fighter. I can't wait to see his next fight. I can't wait to see Taylor's next fight too. They both deserve everyone's respect.

Rejecting Froch vs Taylor = HBO's biggest mistake of the year so far

Well said mate.:good I got sick of people caning Froch on here and saying he had no chance. Some people still don't want to give him the props he deserves. Well, that's the first of the "Brit hype jobs" to get it done. Let's hope Hatton, Khan and Haye manage it too.

Agreed although HBO did well for themselves tonight.
