I don't need to discuss it. I know as well as you do in your heart that Mayweather wasn't giving us the fights we wanted at 147. I know you're a fan, but that's no excuse for not admitting it.

Mayweather wanted to fight the number 1s of the division when moving up. He did his best to do so.

But if he comes back. He needs to face Margo or Pac. (Unless Margo loses to Mosley or Cotto)

 

I'm prepared to give Mayweather the benefit the doubt as long as you're prepared to give Margarito the same treatment.

 

It's hard when he lined up a Cotto rematch before anything. If he fights PW this year. Ill give it to him.

 

Cotto is a hard fight dude, seriously. You don't see that?

 

I will give Cotto the benefit of the doubt because there is absolutely no evidence to suggest otherwise. Innocent till proven guilty.

The common theme on ESB is after a star fighter tastes his first defeat, that is it for him and any dreams of him wanting to establish himself as an ATG.

Just look at Barrera's career. Everybody thought he was finished after 1997, but almost 12 years on, and he is mentioned amongst the best that Mexico have had to offer. We should give Cotto the benefit of the doubt on this one.

 

It's not it for Cotto.

I just dont see it as a tough fight for Margo again.

 

It certainly when they first met. He won 6 of the opening 7 rounds, and I think I probably gave him the 9th.
