And Judah got KOed by every world class opponent he faced with a big punch? Get real. Yes, he'll probably get KOed at some point, but his chin isn't so crappy that he won't be able to beat quite a few top tier guys.

Chris John would beat GAmboa. Bank on it.

GAmboa vs Larios is a more competitive fight than John vs Gamboa at this point.

Well that's because Larios is well past his prime... but IMO John doesn't have the power to hurt Gamboa - and landing softer shots even clean won't stop him.

But I agree... he needs to work on that defense!

He did very well against JMM, so he should be able to handle Gamboa quite easily.

I wouldn't count on it. John's not that great at handling pressure fighters, and while he's a good counterpuncher, he usually does it off his back foot, which means he might not get enough power behind his shots to knock Gamboa down/out. I think Gamboa has the stylistic advantage here.

That's some of the most flawed logic I've ever seen. Just because A beats B, it doesn't mean A beats C.

My argument is simply that John is a good fighter, a top world level fighter. Yeah, he's protected etc., but he's good. That's what I meant.

Now, he has the skills and style to keep Gamboa at bay as he dives in, and pick him off with his well-timed, precise jabs and shots. He is the favourite.

People who fault his chin either haven't seen the fights in question or simply don't know what the **** they're talking about. His chin is fine, it's his ego that needs to be put in check.

If Rameriz has power to hurt him then John does to.

Gamboa has a Glass Jaw and will be knocked out cold sooner rather than later.

i agree that john's style would be a tricky one for gamboa.

i wouldn't put him in with john right away.

    no need to.

john is a no name in america.

i'd get gamboa in with the ibf champion first up. :good
