    that would be a tremendous fight,Caballero is pretty good dont know if Gamboa is ready for this challenge.

    O wow...i dont know if he'll be able to fu34 with celestino at this point of his career! Than again celestino will brawl and gamboa could catch him with much faster hands!

    Do I have to pay a sancioning fee after this title? :-(

    The tentative date for the Gamboa-Caballero fight is September 5 with both Showtime (where Gamboa and Caballero had his last fight) and HBO (probably bringing more money) being interested, according to the scene.

    I think it's definitely too early for Gamboa, but BOY WHAT A FIGHT! :thumbsup

    I haven't heard of any negotiations between the John and Gamboa camp, so other than the interim title they have to be able to force a fight vs. the 'regular' champ, it looks like it's not on the table for this year. The Caballero negotiations were confirmed by BTalk and BScene, so if Celestino wins, I guess Gamboa will have a tune-up in the summer and have his first biggie in September. Caballero, John, JuanMa - Gamboa can be on a dream run, but I would be surprised if was the betting favorite in any of those fights.
