I hope he sticks around at 126 for Juanma so they can have a nice showdown and Gamboas speed will be exposed...The speed he hits the canvas from keeping his hands down against Juanma...

i think he'll lose his "0", but will still crack the top 10 p4p list.

I think he'll get somewhere around the top 5-10 P4P with his current style before getting KO'd by a relatively unknown opponent who manages to cash in on his stylistic flaws with heavy hands, a solid chin and a tremendous work rate.

Afterwards he'll change up his style, be more defense oriented and shoot up the boards...combining ridiculous athletic ability and solid defense.

Its kinda stupid that many boxers need to get KTFO before they fix their defensive flaws .... his handlers should just do a better job of convincing him that he needs to improve his defense now.

i think he will win a world championship. But eventually lose to a real good fighter. i think the money and fame will eventually get to him and make him lose focus on training. I like gamboa and wish great things for him but he a cuban that has been poor his whole life fighting for pretty much nothing. i heard he wasnt allowed to do anything but fight and train.

Gamboa better keep his distance from Pacman for the next year or so.

Somebody will tag that sweet chin of his if he does not improve his defense. I see Juanma doing it eventually.:!:

    that fight will never happen

but when Pacman is gone and retired

Gamboa will take Pacman's place as the new modern day henry armstrong

I think that he could become a champion in the future but for obvious reasons I don't trust his defense and chin. Even if they are not in the same category but I don't think that he can take Juanma's punch and come back from it.

Believe me guys, this fight could happen in the next few years and it will be masive!

I can't believe what I'm see here, yes Gamboa has been down, yes he has been hit but in 1 1/2 years he has KO 10 of his oponents inc.. de jesus with a rec, of 19 and 17ko,Ramires with 25 and 0, and the other two the had been UD so what do you want more? I think and I'm really sure that after two are three fights more he will eat juan manuel m for supper, forget about pacman he is not going to come back to 126 again wish is the best weight for gamboa . so that 's been said belt holder in 2009

He's one big puncher away from fading into obscurity. In other words, he's a KO waiting to happen.
