He's a knockout of the year waiting to happen.. It's going to be a highlight on just about every sports show.. Him trying to act like ROy jones and getting KTFO with something vicious... And dont be surprised if it's by a solid B level fighter.

I want good things for this guy, but my rational side says we're looking at a marginally more memorable career than Zab Judah's.

I think he'll win a title 1 day..I don't think he'll be top 10 lb4lb..top 15-20 though is very probable...He needs to use better DEFENSE in the ring!

The first "elite" fighter he steps in with he will lose.

He will lose to a world class fighter. He is very good but once he fights someone who is as talented as he is and can punch, he will lose for sure. He also doesn't have a best chin which is a killer for many good fighters.

He may be knocked out within the next couple of months, but he has proved that he rightfully belongs among the upper echelon of the very small group of elite fighters around his weight division.

Roy Jones? Pah! Gamboa has been extremely toughly matched up to now. Jones fought a bunch of no-hopers in his first 12 pro fights.

Gotta love all these guys with their gloomy predictions... Where do you buy your crystal balls? Don't give me the "experience" line.

Well he does have a belt now.
But I hope he steps up his level of opposition in his next fight.

I think he will be a top 10 p4p with out a doubt. He will eventually win belts right up to Lightweight.

I dont see him fighting anywhere above 135. He's already filled out in his frame and he's too short..
