Just because those fighters have glass chins doesn't mean they are going to lose by knock out in that particular fight.

And for the record all those fighters in bold have shaky chins. :deal

If you think his chin-checking abilities are off-beat - why don't you correct the ones he have done. If you have - care to put the corrections in this thread?

Maskaev, Taylor and Fraudley are all going to be starched in those fights. I think Mormeck is somewhat past it, so I am not sure that he will be able to take advantage of Haye's questionable whiskers - that may have to wait until he faces Ding or moves up to heavy. Lawton is like virtually all of Khan's opponents - carefully selected PRECISELY because he doesn't hit hard, so it is unlikely, although not impossible, that he will be the one to expose Khan's glass jaw.

So for the record, here are my predictions:

Peter by KO in 5 or less (probably 1st round, frankly)

    Pavlik KO 5

Haye by late stoppage (again, Mormeck is past it)

    Sprott by EARLY KO

    Khan TKO 7

Bull****. I was calling Fraudley's glass chin TWO YEARS before ANYONE around here. The only guys that backed me up were Amsterdam and YouOutSucka. Everybody else was saying **** like "what are you talking about, he's never even been knocked down."

And I have been early on Taylor shaky chin too - mark my words, he WILL get starched. And those of you saying he took so many punches or whatever ever bull**** you're peddling will be proven wrong - AGAIN.

And while many agree that Oleg does indeed have a glass jaw, there is also a sizeable contingent of delusional boxing fans like yourself, who assert - in complete contravention of EVERYTHING we know about the aging process in boxing - that Maskaev's chin has gotten BETTER with age. Yeah, sure. :nut

I am ESB's Chinchecker. When both Maskaev and Taylor get KTFO you better apologize for questioning me!:yep

I think it has more to do with Maskaev's improved mental toughness and his improved defense over the past few years.

At least I have never heard of anyone improving chin over age. There is no hope at all for Jaidon Codrington.

Zak, I won't dispute your status as a premier Chinchecker. Your predictions above may turn out to be accurate. My criticism of your analysis is that you over weight the chin aspect of a fighters overall ability, which includes hand & foot speed, punching power, stamina, "grit & heart". It's like the chin characteristic is 50+% for you and everything else combined is less than 50% :huh

This is the only way you can rank LL as the 3rd best 90s HW, with Holy & Tyson above him - fighters LL handled rather easily ! If Lewis had such a bad chin, then why didn't these 2 at least seriously shake him up? Oh, they weren't in thier prime argument  As if these 3 fighters are so different in age :-( All three are in the same age bracket.

Holy, with some enhancements, accomplished much for his size - more than Tyson. But LL - however you rate his chin - was the best 1990s HW.

Now that's bull**** for a start, a lot of people could spot Audleys chin problem from the very off, same thing with Khan.

Audley will beat Sprott. He got starched due to a stupid error on his own part, of complacently leaving his chin out to dry for half an hour for Sprott to wind up on it. Audley is a better fighter, although he unfortunately hasn't accomplished as much as a professional...
