Don't have to comment/ridicule if you don't like DAZN or Hearn or both.

 

Danny Roman vs Gavin McDonnell is the best matchup on the DAZN schedule.

I've caught up with highlights but haven't yet seen Roman as it happened. He's an excellent, compact combination puncher and inside attacker, likes the hook to the body. He's not a knockout puncher and he'll really have to be active against the rangy McDonnell, so we should get a fun 12 round scrap.

I'm not sure the ridicule you mention is about hating, it's more tongue-in-cheek. Nor is it one-way. Matchroom have openly stated their focus has been on the casual sports fan who once in a while will invest in a Sky PPV (Barry Hearn has been honest enough to say they don't care about the hardcore boxing fan, and that's a form of ridicule too) but all of a sudden with a boxing platform to promote - and one that will rely on the support of hardcore fight fans to succeed - they suddenly develop a presence on a forum like this.

People are gonna have a little dig about that, aren't they?

Both @OpinionOfACasual and @Puroresu_Fan are either the same person (possibly Tony Bellew) or Matchroom plants/employees.

Have a look at both their post histories. Very, very little posts or threads on anything other than the financial, management and promotional side of boxing, and almost everything is about Hearn, Matchroom or Joshua.

Why would a genuine British boxing fan laud the fact that he will now have to pay £15+ to watch Whyte fight on tv? Instead of analysing the fight, he's made a thread analysing the viewing figures. Bizarre. There's no way that he is a neutral boxing fan. He's a Matchroom plant.

I refer to this pair of clowns rather jokingly as "Bellew's alts", but there's a genuinely small chance that Tony is behind them. Or a Matchroom employee, or perhaps another ex-fighter like Darren Barker.

Both of them are a cancer to the forum that's for sure. That's why I said a while back this forum needs a "Promotional/Financial Discussion" sub-forum.

Click on any thread about Hearn, Matchroom, Joshua and numbers and you'll see one or both of these clowns make multiple posts defending their bum boys.
