This is almost perfect timing. We should hope to see Jones beat Calzaghe on 8Nov. so as to set the perfect stage for the rematch between Jones and Hopkins. This would be a wonderful fairwell fight for the two legends.
Unless Jones gets a luck Ko there is no way he will beat calzaghe at this stage in his career. Everyone with an ounce of boxing knowledge knows RJJ relied on his superhuman relfexes and speed to win. These relfexes are diminished greatly. Calzaghe will be nearly as fast or faster. JC will win this fight on a UD.
Not gonna happen. Calzaghe will put an end to those plans. And sadly it would no longer be very competitive.
