    He just wanted to be in the spotlight again - he wanted a big boxing fight but just couldn't get one if his life depended on it, so he moved to MMA. It was a big mistake imo, and I said that even before his loss to Couture.

    Toney should just have done what so many other HWs do, fight stiffs and bums & move up the rankings until a bigger fight, or maybe even an eliminator or title-shot, comes up. With the division being as bleak as it is, and with Toney having a name, it would only be a matter of time before he'd get a bigger fight - if he just keeps active.

    Toney got lucky that Randy is a class act and did not hurt him badly after all the crap he said pre-fight interviews.

    James has always been his own worst enemy. If he'd showed a little more dedication in training and put up a bit more of a fight against Randy then maybe he would have got himself another fight in the UFC and another decent pay day (better than $50000 anyway). I think the result would have been the same, but he hardly left fans clamouring for more did he. But now he's in limbo between the two sports and it's his own fault

    Ruiz in 05 which was taken away for roids.

    his biggest win at heavy was holyfield in 03...
    he did well against sam peter in the first fight..maybe should have won..but he lost the second clearly..even getting out boxed at times by peter..not just outslugged.
