We have just seen Oleg's gloves, ordered by Dung King and Jose "The Bandit" Sulaiman! LOL!

Vitali is supposed to get the winner, but will Don King/Sulaiman keep their word?

Actually Byrd got more money than Wlad in Germany.

Yes, Byrd was paid a fortune and there was only one judge from Germany and the ref from America.

Why, quite obviously the answer is that it's part of an Evil Don King Scheme (tm) to unnerve Oleg by giving him what looks like a ring size that'll benefit him more than Peter.

    Genius, I'm telling you! Genius!

Never underrestimate Dung King, he got away with killing, at least, two humans. He would do anything to get a win for Peter.

Come now Suge White. Maskeav is older than dirt. He is not going to be around in a few years. Peter is still very young. He will. Promoters want to make money. Young fighters fight. Older ones are in active or retire. I have no doubt that King wants Peter to win.

What sucks here is King is the promoter, and he picks the judges, which is a HORRIBLE CONFLICT OF INTERST IN A SPORTING EVENT.

Peter has already been involved in a controversial decision vs James Toney in the first match between the two. If Maskeav vs Peter goes the distance, I think Peter will get the nod, unless Maskeav clearly beats him, say 8 rounds to 4, and even then expect as split decision!

A huge ring size means there is more of a chance for a decision.

    Reply if you choose.

Because Maskaev is most effective/aggressive when he has his opponent up the ropes, and with a 25 foot ring Peter can back up a lot more without running into them.

Peter box and move? Thats about as likely as James Toney weighing 160 and quoting Shakespear.
Much has been made of Peters "improved" skills based on the second Toney fight. Truth is, any half assed Heavyweight would have looked like Willie Pep compared to the painfully slow, morbidly obese Toney.
Peter hasn't progresed since fighting Wlad, in fact he's faded a bit.
I don't know if Oleg is the guy to expose Sam, Maskaev is on his last legs too.
Big ring, small ring, it doesn't matter. This fight accomplishes nothing except permentely elimininating the loser from contention .

Peter would benefit from actually aiming for the front of the head rather than the rear.:good

Why is he going down? Is it from Peter's awesome record of knocking out top boxers? Just wondering.

The WBC has given Maskaev the chance to make millions of dollars -- he couldve made more if he had another voluntary defense. He made 2.5 or something like that fighting a relative unknown in Moskow.

True. Peter isn't mobile. Peter's feet look like they're stuck in cement. Only an idiot would believe a large ring would benefit Peter.
