trying to rank aj, fury and wilder. RUIZ. That is a god damn chin. Flush left hooks, 99% of boxers would have sh*t their pants, and tried to survive AJs onslaught. He gets up clear eyed and gets right back to war. He also took many flush shots in the exchanges and didn’t seem hurt at all. Iron chin. Iron heart. Fat belly
Massive right hand counter which lands flush on the chin and buckles and hurts Povetkin and forces him to back off, followed by a big left hook, right hand-left hook, right hand, massive left hook which lands flush on the chin followed by a huge flush right hand and Povetkin inevitably hits the canvas after eating seven AJ bombs in quick succession six of which after being badly hurt. And that was a 39 y/o past prime Povetkin who was already tired by that point and was giving away almost 24lbs in weight. Timestamped This content is protected
Actually you could still count McCall as best chin in boxing, he’s still active....no66 in the world. If he could get past 3 rounds with Joshua he might Be able to become the first geriatric heavyweight champ!! Haha If joshua ever gets them back...
it's crazy McCall's still fighting at the age of 54. One of his former opponents Marion Wilson (In fact, McCall was the final fight of his career - retired in 2007) is like 63 y/o and might have possessed an even stouter set of whiskers than McCall. Wilson was never stopped in 57 fights (41 of them loses) despite fighting a who's who of the HW division, plenty of legit punchers, and he didn't even turn pro until the age of 32 (retired when he was 50). http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/4537
