You're right to wonder if his power carries. yet another question making the fight all the more intriguing.

Ludicrous? Which top level fighter has Linares beaten to be a threat to Loma? I'll wait...

Quintana at least had a William's win, Linares will retire and will never come close to a win like that

This is a fight for the purists not the fans of Broner ...

Linares is considered the top dog at LW and Lomachenko is MOVING UP to face him. You know what "mismatch" means right? It means Linares does not belong in the ring with Loma which is... ludicrous.

Also you need to stop being a BoxRec warrior just looking for names, there's plenty of factors going into a match that makes Linares a threat...

Size, styles match-up, pro experience etc...

Did you watch the Demarco fight??? Jorge literally won every round but decided to give the fans a show and go for the KO in the 11th, got caught and went out on his shield. I'd argue that Jorge is the most talented offensive fighter in that division not named Loma. This is a real challenge.

Crazy that a fight like this has nowhere near the drawing power of Bellew v Haye.

    What's going on over there?

    Just terrible promotion?

Wouldnt Loma's best chance to risk a fight with Pacquiao?

It's a really good fight, I dont understand why there are tickets left, tbh. I will gladly watch that fight, and I would gladly buy a ticket if the fight were anywhere close to my city.

I think that fight might be a good idea for purely that reason. Pac wins, Loma wins then make it next at a catchweight. After Linares it would be ideal if Loma could take out Mikey before moving up again for Pac, but Pac doesn’t have that much time left.
Beating Pac didn’t do anything for Horn though.
I’d like to see Loma next against Davis, Gamboa or GRJ. I like those explosive, athletic types and I think they’ll make for a better fight than B grade Garcia and old Pac.

Great fight, possibly the best on paper.

Q: Why not so atractive to casual fans from U.S.?
A: No big mouthed black boy nor mexicano waving a flag with a hand while eating a burrito with the other.

Seriously, and I'm chilean so that's not racist I think.

Is not as if Berchlet was in a hurry to fight Loma. Loma wanted the champs at 130lbs. No one stepped up and were not in any rush to fight him. He can't wait around to get them in the ring.
