Outside the Showtime tournament. While the rest of the division waits for the six who will be tied up, they can establish their own pecking order with some very compelling match-ups in their own right...some already scheduled, some not yet mentioned. Bute-Andrade II Mendy-Green Balzsay-Stieglitz Bika-Sartison Oganov-Inkin Pavlik-Zuniga II (with the extra eight pounds I think this could be an interesting rematch). Murat, Stevenson and maybe Guerrero should both be ready to step up soon as well. All of the above are A- or B talents. Any of them could emerge as a credible challenger to the eventual tournament winner in 2011. :good
Hmmm allow me to pitch in some match ups. Balszay-Andrade Bika-Pavlik Bika-Andrade Bute-Pavlik please? How about Chad Dawson vs Bute or Chad Dawson vs Pavlik?
I'd probably pay forty bucks for any two of these (with some 2nd tier lighter weight fights thrown in). :thumbsup Is Chad really moving down? The only place I've heard that rumor is ESB and I don't remember seeing a credible source cited.
Jean Paul Mendy needs to be much busier. He can easily beat an Allan Green, Edison Miranda, or Sakio Bika IMO. No more Jason Nauglers. Another talented kid wasting his prime. :verysad
I think he mentioned being interested in moving down to 168 potentially. Another guy who could potentially use a good fight? Curtis Stevens.
